A dramatic advert is an advert that keeps the audience on edge and you don't know what to expect. I t keeps them in suspense and you don't know what is going to happen next. An advert that i found that represents a dramatic style is a Packard Bell Advert from 1996.
At the beginning of this. we see the advert depicting slavery and doom and gloom in going to work, but with the ability to work from home with your Packard Bell computer. It features the slogan "wouldn't you rather be at home?" I see this advertisement as being dramatic because of the scenes at the beginning, you don't know what is going to happen as you think it will be something bad, but its nothing bad at all. The meaning of this advert is that you don't have to slave away outside in horrible weather outside when you can work from home on this computer that they are making out to be so good. I think the advert is aimed at people who feel like they would like to have a job where they worked from home which is computer based. Also it would target both men and women in the age range of 20 - 40.
