A parodic advert is an advert that takes the mick out of or mocks a TV show or film or other famous icons. Their aim is to make people laugh and at the same time know which TV show, or film they are impersonating. The advert that i ahve chose forpa prdy is the Dtar Wars Tunes advert.
I chose this advert because it suited well to parody. The point of the advert shows men and darth vader in a room of their ship, and because Darth Vader is a charcater with a very deep, husky voice, one of the men presents tyhe tunes to Darth Vader and suggests that he has oen to help clear his nose and throat. I like this because its funny and the perfect paraody, and it doesn;t take you long to clock on to what they are trying to mock. I think the target audience for this advert would be people aged 25 -45, as older tend to buy these kinds of soothing sweets for coughs and colds. Also people who are Star Wars fans will like this advert, becasue it interests them and catches their attention.
